Session # 3:
Review current medication treatment options, dose adjustments, dyslipidemia, hypertension, heart disease, CKD, retinopathy, neuropathy, foot care, sexual dysfunction. Participants will review Chapters 13, 19-20, 22-33 of the clinical practice guidelines.
For 2025, the Exam Prep sessions have been revamped for greater engagement and efficiency. Each registrant will receive a copy of the slide deck prior to their registered session(s) to review independently. The sessions will now be delivered as 1-hour interactive virtual meetings. These sessions will feature a focused review of exam-style questions and time for group discussion/Q&A.

***These sessions are designed to help prepare you to write the Certified Diabetes Educator exam and will cover key study topics suggested by the Canadian Diabetes Educators Certification Board. Attending sessions does not guarantee a passing grade on the exam but introduces you to key exam content that you will need to review in greater detail outside of the sessions.
